SSP34 – Octavio Araujo

Marking an end to 13 years in China, from Qinghuadao to Shanghai to Beijing, I get together with Octavio over a few drinks to talk about lessons learned and things completed along the way. From his initial exposure to Chinese and Japanese culture back in 1995 to his decision to finally move to China to pursue other opportunities and now his departure, Octavio has successfully transitioned through a few career identities and tells it how it is.

This episode runs long only because we had a few bottles of wine available to us and because we had a lot of catching up to do. From the USA to Mexico to China, Octavio sheds some light on how the world and global economy has shifted and how that has pushed and pulled him in different directions.

Available to stream on Spotify, Apple, Amazon and more! Grab a glass of resling and join us on this chat!
