May You Make Your Movie – May 31, 2021 – Recap

I made it easy on myself for the last video and did a recap of the months’ effort. I was going to make an end credits sequence, something unique that you don’t often see, but the problem was that there aren’t any credits to really speak of. I suppose I could have done a program run down? Anyway, here is a 2-minute recap of the projects I did throughout the month of May:

You’ll notice I redid some of the soundtracks (particularly for the Slo-Mo video as I didn’t want to have to deal with copyright issues again) and added some sound effects in others.

It’s been a fun month, a bit tiring towards the end to be sure, but I’m glad I did it. I learned quite a bit about Blender and Motion, but I think my editing game has stayed the same. I didn’t work on colour grading very much which is something I can do next time.

From here, I don’t think I’ll continue to publish every day but, quite possibly, every week or so. This would make it easier to build scenes rather than rush through one project or another. I could also spend some time on character development or different type of animation, both of which require a lot of computer usage. But here it is, the full list of videos I made for the month:
